When you create an ActorRankings account, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile photo, bio, location, acting credits, and links to your social media and industry profiles. We also collect usage data such as page views and feature interactions to improve our service.
We use your information to provide and maintain the ActorRankings platform, display your public profile to visitors, calculate your star ranking, and communicate with you about your account. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services.
When you publish your profile, the information you choose to include (name, bio, photo, credits, links) becomes publicly accessible. You can unpublish your profile at any time from your dashboard to remove it from public view.
When you use the AI Import feature, we fetch publicly available information from the URLs you provide (such as IMDB, social media profiles, and personal websites). This data is processed locally and presented to you for review before being added to your profile. You have full control over what gets imported.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies. Photos and media are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
We use third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), and cloud storage providers. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
You can access, update, or delete your profile information at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account entirely, please contact us. We will remove all your data within 30 days of your request.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or sell your data to third parties.
